Ok, here is my design for the main character. I think i have a good, average guy kinda look but the illustration style still does not quite match the one we were after (need more practice). Hopefully you guys have some decent designs. When we all get back together we can look at each others designs and pick one we think is best or make a character that is based on a combination of a few of our ideas or something.
Some really interesting points of reference here, though I dont think this is coming across in the designs we can see so far. Keep them in mind as you are working, it'll help stuff avoid looking generic. Its important that everyone is clear what the overall design is. Lets see a complete animatic too...
